Brighton is a town on the Channel coast in the county of East Sussex together with the immediately adjoining the Hove, Brighton and Hove.

Brighton is the largest and most famous seaside resorts in England. The independent, but adjustment communities in Brighton, Hove and Portslade joined together in 1997 to Brighton & Hove, which in 2001 received the status of a City.

Brighton has some 156,000 inhabitants.
